Every business has a story — and this is mine.
My name is Mal, and I’m the proud owner of Comfort Double Glazed uPVC Windows & Doors.
When I moved to the Sunshine Coast, I quickly fell in love — the beautiful weather, the friendly people, the relaxed lifestyle, and the family-oriented vibe. It felt like everything I had ever wanted. But I also noticed something that didn’t feel right: so many homes were built with poor insulation and inefficient windows. Families were living with heat in summer, cold in winter, with outside noise easily coming in, and even the sounds of your home carrying out to the street.
That’s when I knew my purpose. Drawing on my passion and years of experience in the window and door industry, I knew there had to be a better way. That’s why I started Comfort Double Glazed uPVC Windows & Doors — to bring genuine comfort, energy efficiency, and peace and quiet to homes across the Sunshine Coast and, one day, all of Australia.
My long-term dream is bigger than windows and doors — it’s about changing the way Australians think about their homes. I want to see every family enjoy a home that feels right in every season, where comfort isn’t a luxury but a standard.
